Frequently Asked Questions About Agile Consulting
Do you take on the Scrum Master role permanently or for a limited time?
For a limited time. We support the team until it carries the way of working itself, and in parallel we build up internal staff for the role. A permanent placement through us is not the goal.
What is the difference between agile consulting and classical project management?
Classical project management plans scope, schedule and budget upfront and manages deviations. Agile approaches deliver in short cycles and adjust scope continuously. We offer both as well as hybrid forms; which approach fits depends on requirement uncertainty, contract model and organization.
What determines how long an engagement lasts?
The number of teams, the maturity of existing processes, management support, and how quickly internal staff can take over the role. After the analysis phase we estimate the scope together.
Do we have to introduce Scrum, or does another framework work as well?
That is decided in the as-is analysis. Scrum is one option alongside Kanban, scaled frameworks and hybrid approaches. We recommend the approach that fits your product structure, team size and organization.
Can you join an ongoing project that is in trouble?
Yes. We start with a short assessment: requirements, stakeholders, risks, team situation. From that we derive whether project management, an architecture review or team coaching is the first lever.
Do you work on-site or remotely?
Both. Workshops and team kick-offs often take place on-site, ongoing support is frequently remote or hybrid. We follow what works for your teams.
