That depends on three factors: the scope of features, the design requirements, and the integrations involved. We deliberately do not publish flat rates – after the requirements analysis you receive a transparent, itemized quote with no hidden costs.
How long does development take?
A standard shop is typically completed in 6 to 12 weeks. Larger projects with custom plugins or complex integrations can take 3 to 6 months. The schedule is defined together at project start.
Do I need Shopware Rise, Evolve or Beyond?
Many shops can run excellently with the free Community Edition. The commercial plans are worthwhile if you need the Rule Builder, Flow Builder Pro, or B2B features. We advise you honestly which edition is right for your requirements.
Can you take over my existing shop?
Yes. We regularly take over existing Shopware projects from other agencies. After a code review, we know the state of your project and can estimate future development costs realistically.
Can the default Shopware search be improved?
Yes. The default search runs directly on the shop database and struggles with typos, synonyms, and large catalogs. A dedicated search backend fixes this: Shopware officially supports Elasticsearch and OpenSearch, and for many mid-sized shops we consider the lightweight open-source engine Meilisearch the more practical choice.
